Oz Poker Tour operator opens virtual website
Gibraltar based online gambling group 888.com has
continued its white label expansion with a an
Australian-Asia deal this week with the Poker Dome
Group.
The new online poker website, PokerDomePoker.com is
owned and operated by the Australia-based PokerDome
group, which owns the land-based Oz Poker Tour and
operates a land poker room in Macau. Previously
PokerDome operated the Southern Cross Poker brand which
was part of Playtech's iPoker network.
PokerDome has developed a strong land-based poker
following in Australia and the new online venture aims
to complement the group’s offline poker events and
enhance its members' poker playing experience.
888 says the new partnership is another milestone in the
execution of its white label strategy of entering
geographical markets with high growth potential. This
new partnership brings a fresh, new online proposition
to PokerDome's growing number of members.
The CEO of the online gambling company, Gigi Levy, said:
"We are excited to partner with an innovative and
diverse poker operator such as PokerDome. We recognize
PokerDome's expertise as an offline operator and look
forward to serving their customers in the online
environment. PokerDome have a close association with two
World Series of Poker bracelet winners, so we expect a
mutually successful relationship."
Chris Levick, PokerDome Group Chief Executive Officer,
commented: "We are delighted to be associated with a
quality company such as 888 and look forward to working
together in the region to offer our players a unique
range of cash games, tournaments and satellites."
