Interapuestas.com teams up with Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona


Interpuestas.com, a Spanish subsidiary of the Austrian sportsbetting company Interwetten AG has announced that it is to become the principal sponsor of Spanish football team Real Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona next season.

Interapuestas.com’s logo will appear on all official clothing and merchandise for the team, and on banners and advertisement hoardings around the club's new 40 000-seat stadium in the Spanish city.

The website has been an associate sponsor of the La Liga club, known as Espanyol, since 2004.

The new sponsorship would also see the two entities working together to promote socially responsible gambling practices, including a series of special programmes over the next 18 months.

Espanyol finished is the fourth team in Spain to be sponsored by an online gaming brand alongside Sevilla, Real Madrid and Miapuesta.
