NEW BINGO PARTNER FOR MICROGAMING
18 July 2008
Online and interactive television applications to
be launched
The Isle of Man online gambling software developer
Microgaming has signed up a new bingo operator, Bingo on
the Box.com for 90 and 75 ball bingo software and a
significant inventory of online casino games.
The new site, launched this month, aims to deliver bingo
fans the most comprehensive bingo-based gaming
experience on the web and in addition to its core bingo
offering, will offer players everything from progressive
slots through to video poker, including roulette,
blackjack, 5 reel slots and British style pub fruit
machine games. The Microgaming Progressive Jackpot
Network is the world’s first and largest online
progressive system and has paid out over $250 million in
the last five years.
Given the continually augmented Microgaming games
inventory, Bingo on the Box will arguably be offering
more side games than any other online bingo operator.
Owned and operated by investors with a long track record
in the industry, Bingo on the Box provides a one stop
shop for gaming entertainment both online and via
interactive television. This (July) month, European
bingo fans can tune into SkyTV for a minimum of three
hours a day to play in a live TV Bingo Show.
Julian Morel, spokesperson for Bingoonthebox.com says,
"Going with Microgaming software was an obvious choice.
As a new bingo brand it is important for us to stand out
through best of breed software, innovation and
differentiation."
Microgaming offers three versions of its bingo software
- 90 ball, 75 ball and 75 ball variant with a variety of
features including, multiple languages, private game and
chat facilities, a player management system and a suite
of quality online casino games.
Roger Raatgever, CEO Microgaming, commented: "We are
delighted to be working with Bingo on the Box to bring
bingo players a truly revolutionary gaming experience.
Research shows that 80 percent of players primarily play
bingo for the entertainment value and we think this new
site has entertainment appeal in spades. What's more 60
percent of players will try slots. We have no
doubt Bingo on the Box will prove a big hit in the
industry and we look forward to a long and fruitful
partnership."
