But 32Red is a cool name, and this name has meaning. During my interview with 32Red's Ed Ware in October 2002 he discussed this:
...It has to do with roulette. Roulette is the most famous/synonymous game associated with casinos. 32Red is one of the most popular numbers in a brick and mortar casino (if 32Red has come up several times during the evening, the manager knows they will have less money to count than usual!). It's short and memorable. The characters are all extremely close to each other on the keyboard of your PC, and there is no gimmicky theme implied.
This casino has a stellar reputation - awarded Casinomeister's Best Casino Award for several years in a row.
So what's up with the name for 32Vegas? I asked the customer service representative in their chat room why the name 32Vegas? And she responded, "It's a cool name." In other words, she didn't have a clue.
But that isn't what really bothers me - that a casino is dragging on the coattails of another - what bothers me is in the way they seem to disregard player's wishes and needs.
Problem gambling is nothing to take lightly, and if a player wishes to have his or her account closed REGARDLESS OF THE REASON the casino should be obligated to close the account.
A player posted in our forum his frustration on not being able to close his account. He made numerous requests, but these requests were ignored. He then filed a complaint via the "Pitch a Bitch" section and I contacted the operator. Well, it was closed...for about two weeks until the same player recieved the following email:
This is Dana here, your VIP Manager at 32Vegas. How are you doing? I hope you are having a wonderful week.

The account had been reopened, and yes - the player went back and played the bonus.
This is inexcusable. Casinos should be obliged to close accounts upon request - no questions asked - to do otherwise fails everyone in this industry.
Avoid this casino at all costs.
