It was a simple problem, but with this casino's unresponsiveness, it escalated into being placed into the coveted "Not Recommended" section at Casinomeister. Here's why:

In February 2004, I was approached by a player who had this complaint:
Hello Mr. Meister, In June 2003, I won $220 from 747 casino, I requested my money which they agreed to pay in check form. After 8 weeks, I emailed them with regards to not receiving my money. I informed them that I had bought a place and would be moving in the next 3 weeks. They replied to me saying the check is on its way. I had my change of address 5 weeks ahead of my moving date so that any important mail would go to my new place. All of my mail was re-routed to me except this supposed check they sent to me. I emailed them once again and demanded the money they owed me. They said they could cancel the check and put my money in through a Neteller account. So I opened a Neteller account and have been waiting patiently for them to notify me of their 6 week wait for check cancellation. This has been an 8 month on-going battle and several emails later which I saved and still have no money which they agreed to pay me. Can you help me with getting my money they owe me without any penalties which they say will cost me for cancelling the check?
This sounded simple enough. I emailed 747casino's support section...and waited. I emailed them again...and waited. Finally I received this:
Dear Bryan,

The 747Casino Customer Service Team has received your query in relation to the player.

We would firstly like to apologize and say that unfortunately your first e-mail was received garble (as if typed in different characters to English), and as such was not automatically replied to. For this matter we do apologize. Please note that a stern follow-up of this matter has been sent to our accounts department as a reply should have been sent previously to the player advising of what is the current status in this regard.

Rest assured that we shall reply to yourself shortly, unfortunately however as 747Casino runs on GMT time, we shall only be able to enquire of our accounts department tomorrow morning GMT time.

Please do not hesitate to contact us again by e-mail should you have any further queries in any regard.

After receiving this response, I waited a few days. I then emailed their support section for a follow up...and waited. I emailed them again...and waited. Maybe it was the 1 hour time difference that was making things so wacko, or perhaps I was writing in Chinese characters again. Whatever the case was, they screwed this player over and failed miserably so in "saving face".

Avoid this casino at all costs.
