I hardly play there myself. The incremental bonus means you have very little chance of winning any of it due to the low RTP of many games and these two things effect each other greatly. It may be ok for high rollers but I'd suggest most of the online gambling community play at minimum, or a little above, stakes.

If VS is a genuine phenomenon, then the industry has a low bar.

Sub-standard slots and frequent site errors aside, the battles are the only thing that keeps me depositing. They used to be phenomenal but have gone dramatically downhill compared to what they used to be.

Withdrawals are super-fast, and engagement through CM is great.

A month or so back, I would have agreed whole heartedly

Not so sure now, still "best of a bad bunch" maybe but since their recent cut backs to the loyalty wheels, scrapping battle events, reducing incentives all to favour Weekend booster which I got anyway ?????? It really has gone downhill.

Suppose us in the UK have to be grateful we still have somewhere to play which is not a "bookies" based casino.

Someone is still hurting about their silver wheel lol.

Given we're talking about last decade (to 2019) then it's a fair shout - they had the top RTPs, great support, one of the largest ranges of game providers out there, and the Weekend Booster and wheel promotions were a cherry on top of all that.

I would say it also reminds us how far they've fallen from that point - one of the earliest to start dropping RTPs, removing the original Weekend Booster promotion and replacing it with a "piggy bank" style feature to save 0.5% of winnings to offer back a week later, and a seven-figure UKGC penalty means they have to tread carefully when it comes to KYC and AML - which is a curiosity when a certain youtube affiliate has been promoting bonus buys to UK audiences using "a friend's account"... talk about a red rag to a bull!

That isn't to say they are bad - they're just not in the conversation for the best of the best anymore.

That is absolutely spot on
Despite all of the above and them recently closing my account until I FINALLY convinced them that I do NOT have any sort of gambling problem, they are still just about my favourite UK casino.
I genuinely believe, that as far as their treatment of players goes, they are honest and fair.

Shame we can't say the same about the way they treat their affiliates (as Max alluded to in his review). They WERE honest and fair for the first 2-3 years, then they started hiding stats and adding in hidden fees to basically rip-off their "marketing partners". Still, I would be a hypocrite if I dumped them over that - I promote casinos that I believe are good, honest and fair for players, not just the ones that reward their affiliates the best.
And I have definitely had worse - bankers like Ladbrokes and Sky Vegas dumping ME, despite me referring good, long term depositing players
Not to mention countless others who have reneged on "lifetime deals". But that's another story for a different thread (or not).

... Now do one for William Hill...
Generally speaking I'm writing the Max's Desk stuff for our most visited Reviews and I can promise you that Will Hill isn't one of them. It could be some time before they come up on the To Do list. When they do it won't be complementary.

:) I wasn't meaning that from a player's "what a great place to play" point of view, more as a historical perspective on how they came to be, what they've accomplished and where they stand in the industry today.

And "low bar"? I think it's fair to say that the industry has had better days, certainly the non-corporate side of it has. So yeah, the "pie" has fallen a bit, to mangle a mangled metaphor. ;)

That's a shame. I was looking forward to laying into them - had some of my most vitriolic prose ready and waiting 😟

Ah, well then, that's different. Very enticing offer you've made there. :D

Technical problems have been going on for years. Site is still unstable i think and i have felt for a long time that when one problem is solved the next one is already in line. Of course most of the problems concern the battle sector but since these are not random but continuous it affects my overall assessment.

For the player RTP drops are never a good thing but these days 90% of the casinos do the same so in that sense VS is not different from the mainstream.

If we look back five years ago VS was totally different casino. No site crashes no lags no RTP-drops and battles worked much better. No queues just some provider-based issues randomly. Of course the casino world has changed since those times and some of the changes have been justified. But thing like technical certainly has gone in a complete different direction than it should go.

I've been customer since 2016 so as a player i've seen the whole saga. Today good things are fast payouts i myself have never had any major
problem with them and there is hundreds of withdrawals in my "career". Also casino contact here deserves thanks. The direction of the conversation in recent years has not been very positive but contact usually reacts at least to technical notifications commendably quickly.

Battle world in VS / Vegas is unique there is no other casino group which would offer the same gameplay. I love battles and that's why i'm not very happy that especially technical side is stuggling and badly. All i hope is stable mood

Let's not get too wound up by the word Phenomena.

From the Internets:

Phenomena can be defined as “observable events that occur in a natural or designed system.” They are everywhere around us, but some are easier to notice than others. Common examples of natural phenomena include lightning, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, tornadoes, and similar.

A form of unnatural or man made phenomena could be an online casino - like Videoslots :p

Will Hill stalled my withdrawals a few years ago to the point of me having to verify between 2 to 5 times and yet I couldn’t withdraw, had to speak to a manager who after those verification let me verify again by taking selfies and selfies from my card. In the end I still couldn’t withdraw and I played the funds, all in all I was almost a week doing multiple verifications. I hate William Hill with a passion. Lost 10k there btw after depositing 4K and climbing up to 10. I was new to online gambling and didn’t know about CasinoMeister then. F William Hill.

Yeah, that sounds like WillHill. There's a reason we've had a Warning against them since 2015.
