All British Casino withdrawal issue

Decided to give them another visit after several months of inactivity.

Natwest deposit via Mastercard debit card.

Withdrawal request to same card - All British say they can't pay back to Mastercard (same card) - WHY?! They should let you know this prior to depositing surely so I have an informed choice before I play there. They need a statement and card details so a bank transfer can be sorted.

I really don't want to do the hoop jumping. Am I within my rights to request account closure and withdrawal? (We are talking £100 - the same amount I deposited).

Asked them already and they said they are going to need the statement in any event even if I close account.

So fed up of being led around in a nappy.

Been looking through the terms cant find anything about them not withdrawing to Mastercard (someone correct me of im wrong) but i do know i cannot withdraw through mastercard were i play i have to withdraw back to Neteller. however found this in Allbritish terms

What type of deposit and withdrawal methods are offered?

We provide the most popular payment solutions available: Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, Skrill, Trustly, Paysafecard and many more. We always aim to provide all payment methods that our customers need. If your preferred method is not available please let us know.

Mastercard in general is seen as a credit card which cannot accept withdrawals. Even if personalised and says 'debit' depending on bank.

IMO it is not a casino decision, it is just impossible to w/d this way.

99% sure someone I know did this ages ago and thought casino was making life difficult (not L&L) and it turns out they were not, just MC cannot accept w/d.

Sure Jan will sort it but guessing you'll have to withdraw via sort code / account no.

Let me know if I am wrong, I quite often am and used to being told so

I use Mastercard at 6 places just. William Hill , Paddy Power, Coral ,Ladbrokes , Lottomart and sometimes JackpotJoy. Never had a problem withdrawing to it or having it refused. William Hill and Paddy Power both instant as soon as hit withdraw its in bank.

Not sure why any casino that accepts it won't let you withdraw to it.

I can add to that list Bet365, Betfair, Betfred, Hello Casino, Buzz, Sky and Duelz. All will pay out to Mastercard debit.

It is a Natwest card. I think the problem might be that this is the first time the card has been used (was Visa direct last time I played there). I'm not sure whether All British will still block the withdrawal to the card if I do decide to get it verified by submitting the docs or will just initiate a bank transfer.
My original email from All British says -
"Since the withdrawal can't be transferred back to your Master Card because of your payment provider, we need to verify that the funds are being transferred back to an account in your name. "
"Due to using a different withdrawal method than what you used to deposit, we need to verify the Master Card as well. "
I'm not the one trying to use a different withdrawal method - it's the same card I deposited with but assume this isn't a withdrawal option for some reason.

Yes, thats why there is a popup upon hitting the withdrawal page that if you used a natwest card to request a withdrawal via either bank tranfer or Trustly. In general no verification is required unless KYC thresholds are hit.

Then why are you unhappy? ;)
I was unhappy with L&L due to the EDD that they did on me. I had to send bank account details from 3 different accounts including my savings to prove SOW before they released my winnings. I thought it was OTT but I wanted the winnings to be paid out so I surrendered all documents…

I'm still struggling with verification for my massive £100 withdrawal at ABC. My card image has been rejected - the same card image that has been accepted at all the other casino sites I play at. The image of my card masks the middle section of the long card number and also masks the CVV on the back.

There are some contradictory instructions between their verification provider who say this -

"Please don't mask your card details, we will do it for you."

ABC's email instructions re verification say this -

IMPORTANT: As a measure of protection, we recommend you to conceal the 3-digit secure code (CVV) at the back side. Please make sure that the first six and the last four digits of the card number are visible, for example 1234 12XX XXXX 1234.

Now, I have never been asked to provide an image of my card with ALL details showing. That means there will be a digital image of my card on file for the foreseeable future with no masked numbers anywhere that could be open to all kinds of abuse down the line.

Come on ABC - which one is it? Can you guarantee the safety of my 'totally naked' card details?

Giving a naked bank card to anyone just isn't wise, especially to a gambling company. I would ask Jan for manual approval, a human does not need to see all card numbers. This is likely their 3rd party auto-checker that rejects your card image because it sees it as a modified document.

Well, this is fun. My card is still rejected, but apparently I'm verified! I can't withdraw my £100 though - still stuck in the red tape ether.

I can't believe there aren't more players on here that have had to go through this process on ABC with their verification provider Hooyu. Has everyone just been happy to submit a complete unmasked card?

Either way, as I'm 'verified' even if I wanted to resubmit my card I can't as there is no option to go to click through to Hooyu to provide a new image anyway :/

However, I do notice that they have added a splash screen on withdrawal notifying Natwest customers to withdraw to a different means.
