New Slot Announcement It's Finally Happened! Slotting Armageddon (Bonanza BB)

Just checked at Unibet.com and no bonus buy on Bonanza there at the moment.

This is a slot I'd actually consider doing bonus buys on, I've always said I love the feature on Bonanza but can't be arsed camping the bastard out, especially when it decides to do its 2500+ spins for a feature shtick.

During the recent Evolution Gaming Online Conference, Nic from BTG mentioned all of their games will be having Bonus Buy options added.

The saving grace that makes it better than NLC for example, is that the coin collect feature will be available for the UK. So, like with what we saw on White Rabbit, collect enough BTG coins and you will trigger the bonus, on top of your natural triggers.

Just got to the second half of the video, so DHV's getting a bonus buy as well.

I played the guessing game on the cost of the bonus buy and got it exactly right, which I'm quite pleased about :D

Looks like the base RTP on Danger has been bumped up from 95.67% pre-bonus buy, to 96.22%. Fill yer boots.

Be okay if UK sites have the coin collect. Just wondering as games like extra chilli they removed bonus buy but still had coin collect. Then it changed and sites removed that from game. So if it is allowed wondering why they all removed it.

You can still find it, 21Casino has White Rabbit with coin collect, I think VS do also, it's not outlawed by UKGC in any way.

Perhaps it's down to personal choice by the casino. Hopefully, BTG push the coin collect feature for UKGC casinos, otherwise, the idea of playing them becomes unfavourable with everyone else doing bonus buys.

I think its a good compromise to not being allowed to do Bonus Buys.

No, there's nothing wrong with BBs if implemented properly, as mentioned, they could be managed on a per-player basis and 'capped', God knows casinos wish to govern every aspect of gamblers' spending habits, but not this? 🤔

Ain't no one playing White Rabbit's base game and waiting for that bonus, and if I wanted to engineer a £50 session off a few £10 BBs then it ought to be my choice to do so.

But in Bonanza's case it actually is about the thrill of the chase, with a sturdy base game to support that futility. And one has to ask why they'd add this BB to Bonanza at this juncture, other than to hasten their own PR machine via digital affiliations, and of course squeeze that extra ounce out of an existing fanbase....

Hard to mention BB's or even call them all evil inventions w/o referencing WR - primarily because it was probably one of the fairest. Not that common to get a return of less than 50% the BB, normally hitting around 75% of the BB amount. And the fact the game is unplayable w/o it.

Doesn't suit Bonanza which, on a decent day, you can make a few decent w/ds from it's base game (which you can't really in the likes of DOA2/WR etc etc)

Nik also mentioned "Where bonus buys are not compliant, the games will have Win Exchange as standard" - so that'll be the workaround for the UK market. We've already seen it in Gold Megaways and Apollo Pays.

Won't a coin collect have to be paid for in another way though? Otherwise they're just increasing the rtp and the last time I looked that wasn't exactly the current trend.

Oh well, finally we'll get to, err, see it's potential!
Exactly, are you braced for a 20x?

Prepare yourself, it's gonna be an exhilarating ride

I do too, the coin collection is a nice way for us to guarantee a bonus now and again and often used to grind out them to within 1 coin or so on multiple stakes so i could play a few in a row then without warning VS removed extra chilli, and lil devil ( while i had some near to triggering ) only to find they brought them back without the coin meter. I complained at the time but VS used the talk to the hand approach. I have boycotted lil devil ever since so they lost overall but i still play chilli @Team.Videoslots

So if they do bring them back or indeed add the new bonanza and DHV with coin collect how can we be sure they not gonna do that shit again?

Maybe @Big Time Gaming can comment on that sort of behavior that can effectively make the casino some extra side pocket money, when they can remove or "reset" games at will?

Interests me if it has coin collection like white rabbit or book of gods, if not it's irrelevant as features buys are banned in UK.

Do we know if they're planning to expand coin collector beyond the existing games though? I can understand them adding Bonus Buys and Win Exchange because both can be bolted on to the existing maths model without changing it, but for coin collector they'll need to rework math models down to say 88-90% to pay for the stored value - and that's a lot of work!

That's a good point and one I was thinking of also.

It would be great if BTG could confirm the process for that. Many a coin collect has gone amiss with a game reset, but that info is held at BTG's end I believe and would require a reset from them, not the casino - at least that's how I think it works.

I wonder if a game update or similar does a reset.

Hopefully, it's not something the casino have control over - you would be sat there waiting for your whales to get ever so close before - Reset!

Well it's just theft, pure and simple. The giving of coins was tied in to the base game, was it not? And like that, they were gone.

Knowing of this upcoming change, BTG could have shoehorned-in a simple message to players, in between their incessant shilling on their Socials, maybe if they found it in their heart to do so.

But shouldn't be too harsh - company/ player relations are still a work-in-progress for them, and they're still striving to build up that rapport. Give them time! 🙌
