Would be great if companies didn't desecrate their esteemed IPs by handing them over to baboons. But then, money talks, integrity walks.
Giving built-up franchises to amateurs is sad to see, but nothing new of course, and with it, allowing them free rein to 'alter' existing titles is all too apparent.
One glance at the recently released Star Wars Battlefront collection in video games will attest to that; taking a pair of 20 year-old games and have them made playable for modern consoles....
Except they went and botched up the easiest layup in history, all courtesy of a studio called 'Aspyr', the Games Global of video games. Shame!
